In the mid nineties two artists, Merry Conway and Noni Pratt, asked audiences to help them create an exhibition called “Too Close To Home”. The exhibition was about the relationship between fathers and daughters and required the audience to bring in an item that reminded them of a particular time and evoked emotions whether they be sad or happy. I like this idea as all the artists have had to do is create the idea and the environment for the artwork to be displayed.
