Further look at textures but also looking at light patterns. Although I do not want to create anything that looks like this I thought it was a good idea to see how pattern and textures could be created and communicated in different ways. On the right page is some examples of repetitive pattern (the love hearts card) and a Cath Kidston pattern which I chose as I liked how detail was created with blocks of colour. The top piece was a leaflet cover for art from Glasgow School of Art. I liked how they had used an envelope as the cover and that an envelope is something very personal and tactile.
