Last year we had a module in Propaganda which was used in World War Two, which I found really fascinating. I really loved that it meant art could have such a strong impact on how people acted and perceived other people and although the Propaganda that was used during the war wasn’t necessarily used for good it still demonstrated what kind of impression art can leave on people. This also applies to advertising. The two posters on the right are a look at printmaking but I also liked these because they were very cleverly done, especially the Underground poster as it has managed to incorporate so many elements of the underground.
